It seems like he runs his own camps and thinks his skills and talent is enough to overcome any style he faces. he needs a trainer that won't put up with his **** and that'd break the bad habits that he has. Only then will he have another breakthrough in his career compete at the highest level.
He's lost the basics of staying composed and technically sound. He looked like a clown out there trying to step it up with the very few weak shots he'd actually throw. He needs to be able to plant his feet and defend his ground. Garcia had him all over the place with just feints. Even when he had Garcia in a vulnerable place, he had himself in a weak position to actually land anything Garcia could respect. I really wish he'd have a trainer that would make him start from the ground up with his style and offense. I don't want to see him throwing weak shots from a conventional high guard defense like Floyd does. I want to see him utilize his hard to read punches and untapped power with winging punches coming from the ground up. It's an offense like that that would give Garcia more trouble with his own conventional straight forward style (Garcia looked a lot like Trinidad). Much like Maidana's over hand rights give any conventional boxer or philly shell defensive style h*ll because the angle they come from are so hard to block.

Very Strong for Showtime on top of going head to head with a stacked UFC Card! I expected lower because of UFC but it held up very strong!

Broner vs Granados: averaged 779,000 viewers, peaking at 859,000

So this is UP so I'm sure Showtime is happy with those numbers! but on this forum "THIS IS A FLOP" "SHOWTIME IS DYING" "BOXING IS DYING" "PBC IS DYING"

these are actually good ratings for showtime. you have to throw that qualifier in the end and acknowledge how bad on whole Showtime ratings have been all year. But 881K when you got errol spence vs Brook drawing 291K, Porter vs Berto drawing 468K, Stevenson vs Fonfara drawing 390K on showtime. Leo Santa Cruz/Framption 2 with Mikey Garcia on the undercard only drew 587K. This tells me 2 things despite Broner being a absolute train wreck fans still love to see that train wreck. These ratings are about Broner NOT Mikey. Mikey's last fight did nowhere near these ratings but Broner's last fight against Granados who nobody cares about drew 779K.

Also it tells me nobody gives a phuk about Charlo. That's a major drop in ratings for a co-main on the same card. Meaning most fans only tuned in for Broner and waited till the garbage Charlo fight was over first.

Broner continues to be the biggest draw SHO has. I don't understand why other than people like the show he puts on.

Here we go with the ratings war again. If you check any boxing event on premium cable or free TV this whole year these numbers would probably match up well. However, on this site we can't even agree on the color of the sky on any given day. Apparently, we should all be in the television business because we're all experts on what constitutes good or bad ratings.

In defense to Charlo, Real Madrid Vs Barcelona was on during his fight. But you're absolutely right, Broner is a rating stud. Love em or hate em, people always tune in.

Dang man, are you really this obtuse? Showtime ratings (like all TV ratings) are verified by independent ratings agencies like Nielsen. PPV #'s for the UFC are not officially released and are not validated by independent agencies, merely estimated.
