Maybe. It's just too early to tell. I consider Berchelt to be the spoiler at superfeatherweight. His style has led him to capturing 2 of the divisions alphabelts.

Davis has shown serious punching power so far. I'm curious to see what he can do beyond the punch. I'm also wondering if his short frame may present trouble later on should he move up in weight.

But what do I know, right?

Tell that to the anti-Loma fanbase.
They love to pit guys they don't like with the Cuban.
They don't like it when it comes to Gervontae.

Davis vs Rigo is still the easier fight to make.

Loma isn't fighting on August 6. He is playing on August 6.

                Loma boxes circles around Davis

Loma has better feet than davis

And what's apparant from the article is Davis has no desire to prove hes the best ...he just wants to stay unbeaten

I think he should stay at 130. A lot of smaller guys like Aaron Pryor, Hamed, Mosley and others make the best of it so I think he can too but rising in weight may or may not work. But its those combinations and angles that really impress me. He is simply fun to watch and there is never a dull moment with him.

I don't think Davis is ready yet for a fight with Loma. It's also very risky. Maybe 3 or 4 fights down the road. And that's fine to admit that. Coming up with excuses always looks bad, and that's what this is, an excuse. And it's an awful one.

Now's the time. Tank wants it, ready or not. Loma is on his mind. Do it, Tank. Call Loma a dirty name!
