Undefeated British super-middleweight prospect Mark "Kid Dynamite" Heffron (17-0, 13 KOs) will be fighting for a "major title" in October according to his manager Kevin Maree. And Boxing Scene understands that it will take place on October 21 in Leeds on the undercard of Josh Warrington's next fight. A show that will be broadcast live on BT Sport as part of their multi-date deal with promoter Frank Warren.

Mark has to be one of the best-kept secrets in British boxing right now, but what is a major title these days? If Fielding & Brophy are getting it together then that's the British & Commonwealth title's out of the equation, which can only realistically leaves the EBU belt? I really hope Mark doesn't get pushed down the WBO Inter/Euro line as he deserves much better!

Not sure why his career has been so slow in taking off. I remember when the Heffron brothers were being built up to be something special, his brother Ronnie has vanished of the face of the earth and hasn't fought in years and Mark is only getting going after making his debut in 2010
