Comments Thread For: Froch: Mayweather Better Not Let The Boxing World Down

Former world champion and Sky Sports pundit Carl Froch has warned Floyd Mayweather Jr. not to overlook Conor McGregor when they collide on August 26th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Sky Sports has secured the pay-per-view rights for the UK, while Showtime will carry it in the United States.

If Mayweather looses I would probably stop watching boxing after the Canelo vs GGG fight.

There's no way Floyd gets knocked out by this BUM

only way it could happen is by some freak accident in the ring or something

like Floyd suffering an unexpected cardiac arrest in the middle of the fight

Only way Floyd lets boxing down is if he doesnt stop connor... If he plays it safe and wins Baldomir style then its will hurt his image, that being said floyd dont care about anything accept that money and will earn it the easiest way possible with minimal risk

dude floyd has been sitting on his ass for 2 years traveling the world... in the training videos he is starting to look like a old man.... mcgregor will be 175 on fight night and he is a long rangy southpaw.... if his punch lands clean on mayweather it can be trouble..... berto landed shots on mayweather also but he didnt have the power.... say what you want but mcgregor can punch better than berto can...

The pressure is on Mayweather and it's bigger than any other fight he ever !

Every expects him to completely destroy McGregor but he's fighting a man who just don't give a ****!

C'mon people put your bookies on the Conor with honor!

He'll be coming in as a unconventional southpaw, different tactics, bigger man, stronger puncher, and he knows Floyd has brittle hands!

I smell an upset so folks put some on the line for The Notorious one!

If Floyd loses to a guy with a record of 0-0 his legacy will be tarnished whether It should be or not Is a different story. There Is nothing wrong with losing but you don't lose to a guy with a few months worth of boxing experience when you have been boxing for 25 years as Floyd has.

I don't think his prior accomplishments should be over looked but he will be remembered most for losing to Mcgregor If It should happen which Is extremely unlikely.
