Shots fired! Lomachenko is just playing it down. Mikey did put on a great performance, but he just didn't have the pop at 140 that he has at 135. Outside of that early left hook, I don't think he ever seriously hurt Broner throughout the fight. I guess this win hinges on how high you rate Broner in your opinion. Broner is accomplished, but he was a bigger guy in his dominant wins. As soon as the playing field was even, he was mediocre at best. Still though, Mikey beat the bigger man and made it look easy. Mikey is still a 135 pound fighter and Saturday night proved that he has the skills to be at 140, but still doesn't have the physicality to really handle the top guys there.

All kinds of wrong. The guy that "whupped" Loma was much bigger in fact didn't make weight and gained about 20 lbs over night how's that a "smaller bum". You've also never seen the fight. It was very close and he probably won. Definately won if the ref enforced boxing rules and punished Salido with at least one deduction (should have been 3 points taken off). Good learning experience in his second fight. There's not another elite level fighter alive that fought as tough as Salido, Russell within his first 3 fights.

Russell is better than Broner and you obviously thought Walters would break Loma. Just like Russell would break him, even Martinez was supposed to wreck him. He's held to a different standard. "Fans" and I use that term loosely expect him to fight junior welterweights and welterweights already because they are threatened and insecure about his talent.

Loma is not a bum. Besides his skin color/nationality not sure why anyone would think that. He's highly skilled and that's not open for debate. Only those who see Boxing as colors would deny that and those folk are ******s.

Great win but nothing special. I keep hearing that mikey pitched a perfect fight and that he controlled what broner did, yet he couldn't captilized on it and close out the show. Broner was never hurt or was in any type of trouble. The way yall make it sound like broner took a beating, etc.

hard to be too critical of mikey but i did expect more. he essentially had a human punching bag in there, 12 rounds with someone not throwing back and you should be able to hurt them or get them out of there.
