Boring Fight to watch. Adrien Broner didn't throw any punches for 10 straight rounds, and Mikey didn't do anything spectacular either but look beatable. He is too small for 147 imo, guys like Crawford, Thurman, Porter, and & Spence will run right through him. He has nice power at lightweight, didn't see anything at Jr Welterweight , and I know for a fact he won't be cracking at 147lbs.

Garcia is solid but very beatable at Jr Welterweight and Welterweight.

As for Broner, smh I'm disappointed, but I'm pretty sure he'll bounce back,... "sheesh he don't have a choice now."

It would have been a lot easier to see how Mikey's power translated if Broner hadn't been fighting like a guy scared to get touched from the word "go." Broner fought like a guy that knew he was outta his league. And his ultimate plan was to go the distance, use the weight excuse and/or use his politics to stay relevant. If Haymon invests in another Broner rebuild at this point. I'll be totally convinced Broner has pix of Al f.ucking farm animals or worse.

Mikey should not fight at 147, too high for him.

It is a fact not a fallacy Fighters lose punching power normally as they move up in weight the best example I can think of over the years who I fighter who moved up several weight classes was Duran once he move past welterweight he had no real power except for a few Knockouts at 154...

Those two 116-112 cards were were deceivingly favorable to Broner IMHO.

I honestly think it was 100% a blowout, even 118-110 is a bit favorable to Broner.

120-108 was the reality. I guess the judges were told not to hurt Broner's legacy too much or something.

The fight, though, was almost a snooze-fest because Broner never engaged, and Mikey's style is a bit boring, he never takes many risks, he prefers to dismantle the opponent slowly, until he KO's him from accumulation of punishment. As he said it himself, that calculated punching was enough at those lower-weight divisions. But at 140, he would have to engage much more, to KO anybody, and we have seen in the past that his chin is really not so good.

I think that if Mikey tries to go up to 147 he will be KO'd even by a B-class fighter. Probably trying to unify at 135 and maybe break a record in belt defenses and retire undefeated, would be his best bet. At 135, he is surely a top-5 P4P fighter. Above that, not so sure really.
