As always, I will at least comment on the Mijares thread. One of my favorite fighters of all time, having a very respectable second part of a career many thought was over when he lost to Ceremeno over 6 years ago. Don't think he can beat Berchelt, but if that fights get made, by god I will be rooting for him.

    War El Diamante!

It'll really trip you out when I tell you that he is only 35 years old. Made his debut in 1997.

          I saw lol.

When I first learned about him was when I randomly put him vs Vic Darchinyan live, I think it was Showtime. I'm pretty sure it was Showtime actually. And Vic destroyed him. I remember Mijares came in very confident, smiling, looking like he's the ****, he was like top 5 P4P, the commentators loved him, they were hyping him up. Vic was a savage though, ripped right through him.

That was all the way back in 2008, holy **** time flies. Yeah Vic was a beast that night, couldn't miss with his right. Loved that era of Fly's/Super Fly's.

Mijares has some good wins though, Alexander Munoz, Jorge Arce, Katsushige Kawashima, Tomas Rojas, Chatchai Sasakul and Rafael Marquez (albeit a shot Rafa).

Lol yeah man, it's crazy how people talk about fighters sometimes, especially after bad wins.

Look at Darchinyan getting destroyed by posters when the fight was signed.
