Golovkin is scared or anything but it’s clear Abel doesn’t want him to fight Charlo because he has a style if he can withstand Gennadys power to legitimately beat Golovkin whos almost 37.

Golovkin with his age , being inactive , on the downslope and probably frustrated with the sport looks like he’s a prime candidate for a Prime MW /168 Fighter to pick him off and hand him a L because if he continues every fighter will be extra motivated to give him the beat down

It’ll be interesting to see what Golovkin does as far as being in the twilight because there’s no other fighters his age ,weight and level to make big fights with all the top guys are young , prime and hungry and that’s probably not the best for Golovkin

I don't think anyone is scared at this level, I mean Charlo struggled with Korobov in his last fight. Not sure whats going on with the politics of boxing, but didn't the WBC mandate GGG or Canelo to fight Charlo? Have the WBC enforced that? I feel sorry for Charlo because all the top guys are not with PBC, which leaves him in the cold like Bud Crawford at the minute.

GGG isnt scared of Charlo. Korobov showed you can hit him with the right hand all night , add this on top of GGG jab and he will get hit alot.

I said back then and still say (but I’m more sure now) that Charlo is cannon fodder for the elite. Korobov as a late sub and not a good one boxed his ears off and that was a Charlo who’d “missed” a VADA test. I couldn’t see him winning more than two rounds vs any of Golovkin, Canelo, Jacobs, Saunders and Andrade and he’d be eaten up by Dereyvchenko.

Charlo IMO should join DAZN unless PBC can give him millions per fight and get him a title. He has no resume, no accomplishments.
