The walls are closing in on Loma (Rigo and Garcia)

Loma has two high profile, viable opponents knocking on his door... Rigondeaux at 130 and Mikey Garcia at 135... Both present big risks and challenges.

Now, I don't think Loma is scared of facing either guy. But I am almost certain that Arum is scared to death of putting Loma in with the smaller but extremely talented Rigo, or the bigger more powerful Garcia.

It will be interesting to see which fight Loma chooses. Rigo is the more pressing fight right now, IMO. Mikey will always be there either at 135 or 140, but the time to fight Rigo is now.

I am probably in the minority here, but I think he has a better chance of beating Mikey than he does Rigo. Loma is no Broner, he's much more talented and much more active and if he proves he has a chin and can take Mikey's power, the difference in talent will show. But with Rigo (supposing Rigo can take Loma's power) then that fight is extremely even.

Lomachenko is no real champion, he look amazing beating bums. Hes not willing to step up and test himself. He fighting someone who just lost lmfao and he keeps looking down against nobodies for fight he doesn't dare to be great and face the only fight that worth a damn and that's Mikey Garcia!

Like I said, If Loma proves he has a chin and can take Mikey's power, then I think the skill of Loma will be the determining factor in that fight. Mikey will have a harder time timing Loma than he did with Broner. Loma isn't going to let Mikey rack up points round after round like Broner did either. It would, however, be a big step up in competion for Loma... The Rigo fight still needs to happen though...

As exciting as a fight between Loma and Mikey would be... Rigo vs Loma is a once and lifetime type of fight that needs to be made now before the opportunity is lost forever...

Loma has a big size advantage over Rigo and that's a very competitive fight. I've always felt that Mikey beats him that doesn't mean it won't be competitive. People are just finally waking up to what Garcia is about. I don't think that the walls are necessarily closing in on Loma though as 130 seems ideal for him, as far as size goes. If he wants a high profile fight though, you're right, he's got sharks swimming on both sides.

It's hard to see how Mikey loses to Lomachenko.

I know Loma is a special talent, but Mikey has more power and his technique is just special enough that I fail to see how Loma would out skill him.

          50-50 fight for sure.

We've yet to see Loma's skills on full display though. Mikey, along with Rigo, would bring out the beast in Loma I think. If Loma at 135 has enough power to keep Mikey honest, then I think the difference in speed and skill would tilt the scales to Loma's side.

It's funny, If Loma and Rigo fight even though I love both guys, I'd be rooting for Rigo...But I'd be rooting for Loma in the Mikey fight (nothing against Mikey he's all class too).

tbf they're all easy too root for. I root for Rigo as well but given his age and size I don't think he beats Loma.

To be fair, I don't think Mikey has ever been truly pushed as well. Fascinating fight. Mikey is really smart in there though. Even if Loma is faster, I would be shocked if Mikey can't adjust.

The rigo fight doesn't really interest me. Too old, too small. Bring on Mikey!

Garcia vs. Loma has a greater chance of happening because it's more $$$.
