Haymon eats when he's fighters can eat, and most trainers starve right along with their fighter.

Taxes most definitely have to be paid, and you've got to cover camp expenses, but Haymon doesn't take a penny off of a purse that small, his trainer likely gives him back the 10% at that point, and he's keeping the hands count down too.

Let that purse get up to $250k, and you're likely to have to see all of the hands getting greased.

Who's sponsoring lil guys outside the ring? I'd bet Rau'shee gots another job or at least dabbles in something else. Maybe just doing some training of kids in paid classes/private lessons sorta thing.

I'd guess you can probably make some coin on trunk ads. I really didn't know how valuable that sorta sh^t was til random UFC guys got to talking about how much they were making pre-Reebok via those ads. Virtually any name guy + some fringe contenders were making $50k-$100k per fight off of those trunk ads. And plenty of guys were doing $20k+. So I could see Rau'shee almost as much for his trunk ads as for his fights at least if this trunk ad stuff holds true for boxing as it does in MMA.

Probably can get lower level social media advertising money like the Kardashians & others with a bunch of followers can get, but on a lesser scale obviously. Not making $1M per tweet or anything like some of these people. With Rau'shee's level of fame via Broner/About Billions can probably make some cash for local sh^t in Ohio too I'd imagine.

And you can always sell shirts, hats, etc too. Brandan Schuab, a UFC guy, has made a TON (allegedly more than he was making in the UFC) off of his shirts via mostly his podcasting fame.

Pretty poor paydays. Hearn will probably pay taylor a few extra grand.

And Terence Crawford has made 1.3-1.4 mil his last 3 fights. Shows u how bad Mikey screwed up by sitting out to go to pbc. Besides all the lost revenue by sitting out Crawford basically took his slot and makes more than him.

I'm a bit surprised that Miller is making more than Washington.

              Katie Taylor $4,000,
This is what's wrong with boxing. Girl making half what I make getting punched for 12-15 minutes. Even when you add in all the other stuff she still probably isn't banking 6 figures which is a damn shame.

Mikey is getting a guaranteed $1m for this fight, after getting at least $1m for his tune-up and the Zlaticianin fights, and if he wins this fight, with Linares and Campbell tied up for the fall, Mikey will likely see another massive payday in possibly fighting for the WBO belt, before handling the Linares/Campbell winner, in SoCal or Las Vegas to get 2018 started.

Crawford is making his money now, but where is there for him to grow his profile from?

He fights Indongo in Nebraska, has the Lipinets mandatory due for the IBF, and then what?

None of the top welterweights/junior welterweight are going to take the fight for the pennies left over after Arum takes his piece and Crawford takes the rest of the pot, the options in house aren't all that good, and the only way Arum is likely to even entertain a tough fight would be on PPV.

All Mikey needs to do is keep winning and the opportunities are there for him to lauch

actually u are wrong again, as usual. Mikey got less than 400k for his title fight. See below:

In other purses on the card, WBC lightweight champion Dejan Zlaticanin will be making less than his challenger Mikey Garcia (35-0, 29 KOs) for their co-feature bout. Zlaticanin will be getting $320,000 to Garcia’s $375,000.

And think about it he has to jump up a weight class to get a million. Crawford got 1.4 million for his tune up vs John Molina while Mikey has to move up in weight in risky for fights for significantly much less money.

Plus all the big fights for Mikey, he and his brother have said so themselves are at Top Rank. Pacquiao Loma and Crawford. Flawed thinking on your part. Not surprising though.

For his true tune up vs rojas: In the co-feature fight, former two-division world champion Mikey Garcia (34-0, 28 KOs) will be getting a purse of $375,000 for his fight against Elio Rojas (24-2, 14 KOs).

So here you have it, Mikey needed two fights to get what he made vs Burgos when he was at top rank. And 25% less than the million dollars you stated.

In other words Crawford got double the pay for his tune up than what Mikey got for his tune up and title fight COMBINED.

Your PBC nuthugging colors will shine through and u will undoubtedly defend Mikey because Mikey And Pbc can do no wrong, right?

Mikey Garcia fought Zlaticianin for his title, and then had his return fight in a big spot on Showtime; between those two fights, Mikey Garcia earned a lot of money.

Now, with the Broner victory in hand and another big performance on Showtime, at the worst Mikey Garcia is headed to the Staples Center to defend his WBC 135lb title, headlining another Showtime Championship Boxing card this Fall/Winter.

Broner and Garcia split $2m on the fight for ****'s sake; figuring the show that was put under that fight (Charlo-Heiland, Washington-Miller, Taylor-Clarkson), you're likely talking about $2m-$2.5m being put put up for the fight.

Pacquiao is of course a big fight; even after looking like **** in the Horn fight, there was enough controversy in the scoring that the buying public is likely to give Pacquiao one more shot before writing him off.

Beyond that, Mikey Garcia is likely set to be sitting on a significantly greater boxing budget for his fights than what Arum is willing to put up for either Crawford or Lomachenko on ESPN (will have an idea what the money for the shows is looking like with the disclosures for this upcoming fight card). Ignore reality if you want.

U are ignoring reality. Charlo only got 350k for his fight. He's a low 6 figure fighter like the majority of pbc champs.

Mikey's biggest fights are a top rank. He's too small and not moving up to 46 for thurman Spence or garcia any time soon.

He's going back to 35 where the biggest fights are Linares with golden boy on hbo or a moving up Lomachenko on espn or stay at 40 for Crawford.

Pbc has zero to offer him and Mikey is a smart man. That's why he hasn't signed with Haymon or any promoter. He's keeping all his options open.
