Canelo is being a tosser by mentioning Ring/Lineal

he may as well show up to defend an old oreo wrapper

by his OWN admission, he is nothing at middleweight

ALVAREZ MAKES IT CLEAR: I AM NOT A MIDDLEWEIGHT.....
    https://www.ring tv.com/413293-canel...-middleweight/

oh, btw..... that link is from THE RING, immediately after they crowned Canelo the #1 middleweight on the planet

    fkn hilarious

he has it ALL to win, Golovkin has it ALL to lose

the winner will be " the man " at 160

if he is successful, Golovkin will then need to address Saunders/Charlo, and he will need to fix his Jacobs problem

Canelo would need to do the same

everyone is so quick to run with dribble

Still good fights for both afterward. Middleweight is finally heating up. Any fight between Jacobs, Jermall, GGG and Canelo is interesting to me...

Dude jumped into that 168 tournament out of nowhere. That's crazy to me. I hope he takes out one of the better names at the very least.

Please remove references from The Ring "title" from anything to do with a legitimate boxing fight. It would be the same as Abel Sanchez creating a title and giving it to GGG - it means absolutely nothing.

What ingrigues me is if Canelo will make the IBF saturday weigh in.

Will he skip it like Jacobs?
He will 100% skip it methinks.

He had 18 months to schedule a middleweight fight and he did that

Doesn't anyone see it? Canelo doesn't want to fight for the belt cause win or lose he will still hold it after.

but, that is exactly what The Ring did

they do not sanction, therefore cannot mandate, therefore are no more than interested bystanders when it comes to boxing

" The Ring " simply cannot be referred to as a "belt" or " title"..... not in true boxing terms anyway

                      just a reminder.....

" The Ring " ranked Canelo the #1 middleweight on the planet despite the following facts.....

                      1) Canelo had never fought AT middleweight
                      2) Canelo had never fought A middleweight opponent
                      3) Canelo had never fought above 155
                      4) Canelo did not legitimize that " title " by defending it against a genuine middleweight contender
                      4) Canelo said this..... (and this is a fkn doozy).....
                      ..... " I am not a middleweight " LOOOOL

this is Canelo's first fight at middleweight

The Ring are better than the ABC bodies, but not much better..... they certainly cannot be classified as a title, because they do not sanction/mandate
To be honest I don't even consider The Ring belt a title. I know alot of people and boxers consider it the Lineal championship but I don't put much weight on it.
