nothing new here when the fight was announced Canelo said the WBC ain't getting a dime and won't be involved. The fight before that they even tried to create a bogus 164 lb belt trying to horn in on the Chavez fight AFTER Canelo already told them no phuk off. WBC is like the stalking ex that keeps showing up out the bushes to try and talk to you.
