There are some dopes on this site, Carl weighed in at 126 at 3% body fat, that last pound would not shift! Whatever criticisms you could throw at Shane McGuigan, being a bad S&C coach is definitely not one of them

I don't recall Carl ever having trouble making weight. Still, classy comment from him especially towards his opponent.

That is definitely not true. Carl has had weight issues at 122 for the last 4 years! His last two fights at 126 he stated how he still finds it hard to shed the last 2 lbs due to his bodyfat being so low meaning he has much less water weight that can be shifted.

He is 30 now, his body can't do the things that it could at 25. Its unfortunate because I think his stature is way too small for 130

I don't like the way Carl looks in these pictures. He doesn't seem worked up for this. Eliminator? Russell is pretty much eliminating himself. It's easy to duck a guy who only fights once a year.

Unprofessional by Frampton. Gutierrez should have said no fight or at least take home a hefty bonus.

Oh and reporter Terence Dooley, who has been here for many years, is surely talking against better knowledge when he says the extra lb won't make a difference. Of course it makes a big difference. Hell even Frampton said so.
