Jake Ball says he is "absolutely buzzing" to have been given the opportunity to fight in an English Light Heavyweight title eliminator against Joe Sherriff (11-0, 3 KOs) on September 1. The Surrey based Matchroom fighter (9-1, 8 KOs) will feature on the promotional outfit's season opener at the York Hall, which will also see the return of former Olympians Lawrence Okolie, Joe Cordina and Joshua Buatsi as well as Conor Benn, and English Super Welterweight champion Ted Cheeseman.
