Golovkin beat canelo from outside with jab and distance control

This video does a great job of explaining it. Canelo will look like a lost puppy trying to find ggg in the ring. GGG is the boxer in this fight. Only chance canelo has is to get on the inside and make it a war and push ggg back. And we all know canelo can't cut the ring off for ****. Footwork, jab, and control of distance all go to ggg.

Canelo doesn't help himself being a wannabe counter puncher

I agree with this...GGG's jab is one of the best weapons in the sport and he'll use it to beat down Canelo.

I don't think Canelo making the fight into a war will win the fight for him. I think GGG hits harder and takes a punch better than Canelo. Canelo hits hard and takes a punch very well but GGG is the hardest punching, toughest middleweight in the world. Canelo might have an edge over GGG in hand speed, and quick accurate combinations to head and body. He should use this edge but do so carefully. I am a big fan of both boxers. I think even at age 35 GGG is still the best middleweight in the world.

I agree the jab and distance will win him the fight. Canelo doesn't handle a stiff jab well. Mayweather used his jab a lot more than usual against him.

The question is will Golovkin get desperate to score a KO and go in his seek and destroy mode. That would play right into Canelo's hand.
