Connor vs Floyd: A battle of elbows

Mayweather is absolutely notorious for his use of elbows in fights and now we've got an ATG cage fighter in there with him.

So lads the question is who lands the most elbows in this fight?
    7
Floyd, he's perfected the use of the sneaky elbow to the chops
    57.14%
    4
Connor, the mma great is trained to land the perfect 'bow
    42.86%
    3

    The poll is expired.

Mayweather will land by far the most elbows. His elbows are short quick and hard for the ref to spot. He will often get away with landing elbows. A Conor elbow is a serious weapon. It's a powerful blow that the referee can't possibly miss. Conor won't risk throwing MMA type elbows because he knows he won't get away with it. He may join Mayweather in throwing quick short elbows like Mayweather does but they aren't damaging blows and if the ref catches him he will only get a warning. If Conor lands one of those booming MMA elbows he could get DQed, lose his purse and get sued. He is too smart to do that.

Mayweather can land elbows all night and get a pass every time. McGregor will get point deductions very time he lands one and likely DQ'd for it. He also is bound to a legal agreement forbidding it and would be jeopardizing his purse if he violates it.

Floyd uses slick boxing elbows, hard to notice even for the ref. Conor uses straight up MMA elbows he cant hide it the way floyd can that takes a long time to learn and get away with it.

I don't buy that mate. Conor knows that he can potentially put an elbow on Floyd in close without penalty when throwing from his unusual angles.

That said, it is just a business venture though, so it may be as choreographed as the press tour was.

So does that make for a good fight?
