Carter has a Khan chin so will be starched quick most likely. Which isnt really what Dubois needs right now.

Still, he is only 20, and i have heard of Carter, so no major complaints

LOL Carter got KO'd in 2 by some cat with a 2-9-2 (0KO) record in his last fight. And he hadn't even fought at all for about a year & half previous to that. How the eff is Carter fighting for any title right now? I'm starting to think maybe these title belt guys are just pulling these fights for titles out of their ass lol.

As far as I'm aware there are no BBBofC rankings so they really do just pull their title fights out of their arse. I think the stewards just decide arbitrarily and I don't think they are capable of offering much resistance to the will of powerful players like Warren and Hearn

Carter is okay on paper but it will probably just go the same way as the Howe fight, which was also okay on paper. Since Dubois will hold the Southern Area title after this, hopefully his next opponents will be of a more durable sort like Akinlade or Sokolowski

Warren has a tendency to match his prospects with utter **** for 10 to 15 fights, just look at Yarde's comp. But I actually really like how they have brought up Dubois. Carter isn't anything special obviously, but he's lower tier British level, which is the kind of guy Dubois should be fighting at this stage. Now the talk of Cornish or Sexton after this is way too soon imo, but if he comes thru Carter with ease, inch him up to guys like Volau, Sokolowski and Healey. You gotta remember, the dude was born in 1997 ffs
