          Does NOT matter in the Air Force or not. It's customs, courtesy and respect. U don't call someone by their FIRST name unless you are given authorization to or they introduce themselves to you as such. We are IN a professional sport which means you hold professionalism throughout. Doesn't matter if people like you don't understand or hold true to what is respectful as long as I do. Called integrity. You calling him by his shorten name of Al instead of Alan is disrespectful enough. It's like people calling me Rach. We aren't on a first name basis and then you are going to use a nickname on top of that? Smh. This world has lost enough respect as is and has forgotten how to be respectful or what it means.
