you keep ignoring that canelos offer was already on the table even before the brook fight, that offer was for a fight at 160 september 2017... ggg didnt accept the offer immediately cuz he had the right to negotiate the terms, but they been negotiating since then..
the fight could had happened earlier? yes, but it had nothing to do with what we saw on ggg vs jacobs...

They were making offers for years but it was always for a catchweight. So they weren't serious offers. Once Canelo became too fat for 154 they moved up and once GGG GGG struggled with Jacobs they made a real effort to make the deal.

These Charlo brothers need to carve their own niche and not rely too much on getting fights from popular fighters.
They have fan-friendly styles and they can make it on their own.
Charlo 1, for example, need to fight the likes of Andrade, Lara, etc.
Charlo 2 can go after Jacobs, Quillin, etc.
Bottom line is start with the ones in your own backyard.
How can you expect outsiders to fight you when you can't even make the ones in your stable to fight you?
