Most biopics tend to be disappointing. I haven't seen this one but I had a feeling it would not be a great movie like Raging Bull. DeNiro has been mailing it in for the last twenty years, and too many movies that are made today do not have that gritty feel to them, they need to be watered down so they can appeal to a broader audience.
I also skipped over "Bleed for This" Vinny Pazienza's movie. Anyone see it? Recommend it?Comment

Its pretty good. De Niro's a restaurant/bar owner in Montreal as a front but in actuality he's a professional thief. He, Ed Norton and Marlon Brando get together to pull a major heist in the city. I think the planning and execution of the robbery is interesting.Comment
