Beautiful car; impressive specs; but a damn waste of money. Lol This is why dudes like this go broke. They buy completely unnecessary shit at an alarming rate. There are multi-billionaires that can buy and sell Floyd over and over who don't throw money around like this. Not hating. I don't have anything against the guy, really. Just stating facts.

Floyd spent $4.8m on a one of two supercar, that you've already acknowledged as being impressive, that he's barely even touched (with the mileage on the vehicle, you're literally looking at the distance to make the trip from Vegas to LA twice)

Floyd will likely put the reserve price at $4.7m, someone will likely end up paying $5m+ to become the new owner of a one of two car, and Floyd would end up making a bit of money off of holding the car for as long as he did.

Floyd's likely not a billionaire yet, but no need to knock the man for looking after his money in his own way. Floyd has his money in property/real estate and his toys (that he's largely kept to small-batch and one-Floyd vehicles that seem to hold their value). Not bad

It's a car that will depreciate over time, especially a car like that, you drive it at all and you lose 10-20% of its value immediately. A rare item like that wouldn't be sold by a guy like Mayweather for the fun of it, it's being sold to recoup money. It's funny the people now making up excuses for him to sell the car....bottom line is he lives outside his means......in a big way.

A lot of these people have no comprehension of this stuff. Try explaining to him that in 2012 you could get a 90's vintage NSX for $30K and now they're going for close to $100K or more. The secondary market for collectibles is on fire right now. It's up 28% just from last year for elite autos. All sorts of records are being set for rare watches, cars and other **** at auction. At one auction alone this year 14 new world's records were set.
