Exactly. It's dissapointing because he actually dose have great ring generalship and considerable power. Maidana even said Broner had more power than Floyd. In Maidana's fight with Broner, everytime B would let his hands go he'd have success. But his biggest detriment is he emulates Floyd way too much. The style predicates on what would Floyd do. So pretty much when he loses control of an opponent, he runs and resets looking to sluggishly pick at his opponents defensive flaws. He'd be much better off being offensive with a mentality like the Khan of old; letting those combos and fighting from a position of strength. He may be a complete prick but the guy can take some serious blows and keep on truckin. Shame his many great assets are wasted. Would be interesting if he let Roach start training him

Agreed. I was on another forum recently and somebody was trying to argue that Broner isn't even skilled and just hype. AB haters only talk about his losses to Maidana and Porter, but nobody mentions his work at SFW, LW, and JWW, or that he skipped a whole weight class and beat Paulie for his world title.
I'm thinking AB takes this fight and shuts the haters upComment

Broner is not dedicated to the sport. He is clown.
Cant compare to the dedication Crawford, Lomachenko, GGG, Canelo and ofcourse Mr Hard Work and Dedication Mayweather to Broners.Comment

Good post pretty much on the money I just wish he would learn to use his legs better to set up his shots, give himself better angles he just seems so static until he is forced backExactly. I think it's for two possible reasons:
1. They don't want to give too much credit to someone whose legacy may rival theirs; and/or
2. They don't want to feed the haters (or the complaints of a former rival) by giving a shout-out to a controversial victory.
So they pick someone safe...someone who doesn't threaten them in either way.Comment

it takes skills in order to pressure successfully.
if its not skills that beat broner but high pressure work rate then what does that tell you about broner's skills then?Comment

How could I forget that **** haha? What am I talking about, his stand up game is amazing if he just let his hands go. He's so static it reminds me of Fernando Vargas. Emulating Floyd is a lot cause for him. For one his shoulder are way to broad. I don't expect to see anything different when he faces GarciaComment
