So you mean to tell me that this guy ( Jamie Cox ) is thirty years of age and never fought at world level or headlined his own show? and George bum Groves is a year younger, with height, reach and several years of experience ahead of his as Groves puts it ( novice ) opponent....but Roberto Dalmiglio believes this is a showdown between 'Elite' boxers? omg....so does this mean the Brits are going to be paying for this? I think they messed up by doing two weight classes simultaneously and by giving each bout its own show instead of bundling all of the quarters and semis together. Now it seems to be too large a scheduling commitment for any of the big channels to go through with

              I'll go to this.

I like Groves and I have feeling Cox is quite gutsy. He's certainly a bit dirty in there.

Decent fight, Cox won't lie down but the punch variety and power of Groves will result in a KO win in the middle rounds.

Everyone's talking about Groves vs Eubank in the semis, why is the number 1 seed fighting the number 3? Surely 1 fights 4, and 2 fights 3? Anyway, I can't see Eubank getting in the ring with Groves or Smith. But if he does fight Groves, he'll be outclassed imo. Eubank has only ever fought one boxer with decent footwork and he came unstuck. They will eventually regret matching him with slow old plodders every time.

Groves vs Smith in the final is an intriguing match up. Smith is huge for a super middle but he hasn't fought anyone on Groves' level. I think Groves should be the favourite to win this tournament.

It is a lot of fights with no real names involved. I hope this isn't something I'll have to stream.

This little tournament sounds cool. Smart by Groves to get involved to make some sweet money with that world title. He should win this one.
