Phony Calzone does it AGAIN!

Every time that Joey the Phony Calzone is faced with a major challenge, he backs out of a fight....

he has done this THREE TIMES NOW with Glen Johnson, once with Roy Jones, and he delayed the lacy fight on at least 3 occasions, a guy he should have never been scared of in the 1st place....

if Calzone had the heart that matched his ring skills, he'd be #1 pound-for-pound, too bad he's mentally soft

I don't understand what you're going for here. He doesn't have heart because...he doesn't fight with a broken hand? LOL, okay, then I don't know any fighter with heart because I've never heard of going into a fight with a broken hand.

the broken hand is a JOKE!!!!

his hands are perfectly fine, this is a common front used by mentally-soft fighters, they blame a "bad hand" or a "sore knee" for not fighting top competition....

examples: Quitali ducking Rahman, even my hometown guy Willie Jorrin ducked Larios and Vasquez with an "injured ankle"

Well, we knew Vitali was lying because he made up a different injury for all 4 times he pulled out of the fight. Calzaghe's hands have bothered him for years. He still fought Lacy after all, didn't he? And he'll still fight Glen Johnson as long as both guys want it.

No need to resent it as I was not referring to you in any shape form or fashion. I in no way was implying the the bulk of Jeff Lacy fans are bitter over the loss. By and large I have found the majority of Lacy's fanbase have reacted as the former champ himself with class and dignity over the loss.

Injuries happen in the game. Cant expect somebody to fight with a broken hand. Whether or not he is actually injured I do not know. But I do know that it is a pawn to be used for manuevering around or into fights. Just part of the game.

my boy Tomasz Adamek went into the briggs fight with a broken NOSE. even with a broken nose, he took some heavy as hell shots and didnt go down, and briggs aint no feather fisted fighter either.

maybe its the way he tapes his hands, or maybe he hits too hard, or whatever. the lacy injury: i didnt believe that. this injury: i believe it... to a certain extent.
