This goes to show how little McGregor understands about what he's up against. You can take this and you can take that, Conor, but this is the first truly world class athlete you've ever had to measure yourself against. Floyd has 1000 "stances." He has no style. He has no rhythm and he's been saying it for a long time.

There's a reason boxers use a boxing stance, that's because it's the most effective stance to use when boxing. Hundreds of years of sporting evolution have designed the most effective way to fight with fists.

How the hell is a capoeira stance going to help you?

Boxing is the art of hitting and not getting hit. Everything I've seen of MMA suggests they're not as worried about the second part of that statement.

End of the day, unless you turn the lights off in the stadium, you're still throwing punches and Mayweather will still see them coming a mile off.

This is brutally honest but the truth ... If the fight is taken serious from the bell by Floyd .. Conor might never be the same health wise. He has never been touched on the chin the way a precise boxer ever could in a mma fight and vs one of the best ever in boxing it could be a long hospital stay if it was taken serious by the boxer

The only stance he will know is on his back tbh

No. But let's think about this logically. Does it make sense for a guy w/ stamina issues to be in there playing around w/ unnecessary movements & not being efficient and economical w/ his energy? I think he's going to be focused on staying relaxed in there. But after a short period of taking punches consistently...He'll succumb to not only the mental pressure/tension that fighting Mayweather brings....but also the physical attrition of receiving and delivering shots for 36 min. Regardless of what stance he uses the fact remains that his ands have to come back to certain points to deliver punches w/ speed and force. Floyd is a master calculator & knows this. Any extra movement will only aide his demise.
