You can't deny what he did in his prime. I think prime RJJ beats any fighter from 160-175 in history

He's another guy who was a great, and as far as prime goes will be certainly up there with the greats, but he was another fighter that was foolish with his money and has had to sacrifice his legacy to continue to fight on to make more, often times losing, or looking very poor.

People can make all the excuses they want but he ruined the **** out of his legacy..cause he erased the "WHAT IF" factor..people would be saying man he would have still beat so and so...Roy made himself look human and at times like down right trash..that happens when these fighters just cant let go...It does not erase what they did but the "WHAT IF" factor takes fighters/athletes to these higher levels

Fighting wayyy past your prime doesn't ruin your legacy. It's sad but doesn't change anything

so Hanz you dont agree with larry POV? not trying to pin you two against each other or anyting just I thought he made a valid point which was RJJ destroyed that "WHAT IF" factor where peopel like to do fantasy fights etc and say he would have beat this guy or this guy.

LEL. In his "prime" he was fighting postmen. Got beaten up and KTFO when he stepped up in class around 2003. HGAF about this guy now.

Him fighting at 50 yrs old doesn't change the what if fantasy fights. Most fighters don't even make it to 40 lol

Srr fought way past prime and people still have him as the goat. Being old and fat doesn't take away from your prime accomplishments

That clown never had a legacy to begin with. Hahaha.

He's a legend in his own mind. (and the minds of the "homeboys")

He doesn't have many credible wins on his record. He ducked all the tough opposition. Roid Jones was a scared fighter. Probably because he was never man enough to take a punch.
