Comments Thread For: Eubank Sr: James DeGale is "Suspect" For Not Entering WBSS

Former champion Chris Eubank, the father and trainer for IBO super middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. (25-1, 19 KOs), believes all of the top fighters who refused entry into the World Boxing Super Series "are suspect." Several boxers have entered the WBSS super middleweight tournament - where millions of dollars in prize money will be at stake.

Although not a fan I have to agree .Jack,Groves ,Smith Dirrell and Bute on the record and Eubank Jr. ...a near forty slow A.A. and the only other name on his record B.J.S. who he lost to I think that is more suspect!

Sr. is an idiot who thinks he knows better,.I wonder how he riddles out of explaining to Jr. how he cost him anywhere up to £5m last year ......SUSPECT!

Degale has just had shoulder surgery and is out until the end of the year. I dont have any doubts he would have signed up otherwise.

He has more than proven that he is willing to take risks, far more so than Eubank Jr.

He fought Dirrell in the US. Fought Jack in the US. Fouhht Bute in Canada. Fought Groves in a prospect vs prospect fight that was risky for both. Jumped straight in with EBU champ after losing to Groves.

Degale has no problems testing himself.

Eubank sr. mind is becoming weak, this geezer probably is ignorant to the fact that 'Chunky' has been injured and Eubank's comment -- '' There is no escape and the best fight the best. '' is laughable! when in fact this 168 tournament is filled with euro-bums!

Chunky, Zurdo, Dirrell, are all out this charade ; the fact that you got a 160 pounder ( Rob Brant ) fight Brahamer in the opener whilst bum Callum Smith who just ducked Dirrell is fighting Erik Skoglund and Sr's son E.U. bum jr. is fighting another version of Abraham ( Anvi Yildirim ) makes you wonder why not just give Artur a rematch instead -- whats the point?! then you got that bum George Groves who was lucky the UK ref was on his side vs. Chudinov stop the fight just in time even though Chudinov had broke Georges jaw, now facing Jamie Coxx -- whos that?!

            Excellent junior! Splendid! Glorious! Masterful!

Poor DeGale is having surgery on his bad shoulder. My heart bleeds for him. **** the shoulder - you're 'world champion' apparently, you fight through the pain. He should be stripped.
