Trinidad would have beaten Floyd 10-2 at 154. There is no doubt in my mind. Too big and fast and skilled.
Felix Trinidad would have beaten Floyd at 154 easily.

A hall of famer and world champion boxer who was huge for his weight class and would probably enter a 154 pound match rehydrated to 165-170 pounds would beat a boxer who would enter a 154 pound hydrated at about 152 pounds??? You made a thread about that?? Yes, generally in combat sports, 2 fighters of similar skill level, in this case both hall of fame level, compete and their is a massive size difference of 10,15, 20 pounds, 9/10 times the bigger fighter is getting the win.Last edited by N!Ck F.; 07-22-2017, 08:51 PM. -

Trinidad had size and pop, but there's nothing in Trinidad's history that would lead you to think that he would be able to match skills with Floyd.Comment

Look at what a 14-0 David Reid was doing to him until Tito hit him with a perfect left hook. He was tapping that a$$ like it was an all you can eat buffet! 14-0 dude!!!Comment

I think to be overrated is the best compliment. It means people admire or appreciate something about ur style or excitement that they are wanting to give u a bias. Tito was fun to watch. But he had no balance and could be flashed. No adaptability. He's dad would say in the corner "Same but harder, but don't get hurt". I loved Tito. But Floyd beats him. Tyson is the most overrated which means he's loved the most. After Tyson v Spinks I asked my Dad if anyone could beat Tyson. "Well son there is this guy named Evander Holyfield"...Comment

Tito was too clumsy for a slick Mayweather. Even though 154 is probably Floyd's worst division he is still better than Tito.Comment

Size wise, Floyd Mayweather is a true 140lbs. He use to walk around in the early 150lbs? But I think 147lbs was just easier for him to make. Barely any weight cut at 147lbs. He's a small guy. 154lbs has never been his weight. It's stretching it for Floyd. For those who think weight doesn't matter, you obviously have never sparred or fought inside of a boxing ring. Weight divisions exist for a reason.Comment
