It kinda is actually is. If the fight was labelled an exhibition then ok, but this is being sanctioned and counting as a real pro win in what should be floyds easiest pay day ever. We aren't just talking about a champion or some contender we are talking about the greatest of this era and arguably the greatest of all time fighting a guy with no amateur fights and no pro fights for floyds 50th win. Now i wont lie id take that fight in a heartbeat for that kind of money if i was Floyd, but its still a cherry pick cause we know conor stands no chance.

I don't know about the thread question, but it's become clear that a few people here don't know what the term "cherry pick" means. This fight has no relevance to the division or boxing in general, despite being sanctioned. The only reason it wasn't billed as an exhibition is because they're trying to sell it as if it has some level of legitimacy. The whole thing is a money grab (which is different than a cherry pick).
