i was just watching antwan echols and kingsley ikeke on espn classic last night and between rounds teddy and joe start talking about mcbride getting to fight tyson at the time...... they rip him apart so bad it wasnt even funny, saying stuff like "the slowest and most plodding heavyweight we've ever seen" teddy even says "hes a nice guy, so its good to see him get a pay day, but i dont see how this fight can last more than 1 round"

i think mcbride should get a shot at the WBO title. hes riding a nine fight KO streak, one KO over the shot mike tyson. since brewster's injured, sure go for mcbride.

think of it like this, there are worse "contenders" out there who are getting title shots but not deserving them, like owen beck and oleg maskaev for example.
