Hatton fight night was 152-5 beating KT and was 153 against Floyd. What you had with Floyd vs Hatton was 140 guys fighting at 147.

When Ricky had his only true WW fight it was against Collazo where he weighed 159 on the night and said he felt sluggish and flat and that he would never fight that heavy again, he never did, there are interviews where Hattons trainer is saying how small Floyd is and that's why they were happy with 147 because he could fight at his best fight night weight, and as his trainer said if they lose they still held the 140 title. Floyd and Hatton could have fought from 140-154 and they would be about 152 fight night, they just dry out a little or what they normally do to make their perfect fight weight.

Go through history and look at fight night weights of JWWs and they come in around 150-154, full size WWs will come in around 160-165.

If you understood boxing from the inside you would know this stuff but youre a fan that has never competed so you think the weight 30 hrs before a fight has more meaning that the weight they actually fight at.

If a fighter never had the 30hr leeway that allows them to cross over many divisions you would never have seen the likes of Floyd and Manny in the 130 class they would have been JWWs back then,
I most certainly have boxed, so It Is rather amusing having you attempt to explain to me the concept of weight, as you kick back on your sofa sipping a soda. I asked a simple question. What weight class was Hatton more successful In ? 140 or 147? Explaining his fight night weight doesn't answer the question.

Pacquiao only "won" to those who only care about punch stats. Even CompuBox said STOP, don't do that. It's not the only criteria.

To those who know how to properly score a fight, including 6 of 8 independent judges, Jeff "The Hornet" Horn beat Manny Pacquiao fair and square 7 rounds to 5.

That's NOT a robbery, it was a close fight because the rest of us were paying closer attention to how Horn was bullying the hell out of PacMan over 12, and keeping him after school to write standards on the board "I will not disrespect underdogs" 100 times.
Luiz Collazo beat him before Floyd. Hatton was on the downslide before he fought Mayweather AND he was never a true welterweight...Only fought twice at that weight...Lost one to FM and got a gift decision in his first welterweight fight with LC where he was hurt badly.

So you still don't understand and you have never boxed in competition where you had to make weight so don't talk your BS kid you aint fooling nobody you don't know enough to have fought.

Hatton fights terrible and flat at 159lbs he fights at his very best at 152 pounds , Hatton has never stepped into the ring at 147lbs he has never stepped into the ring at 140 lbs.

Now what weight was he fighting Floyd on fight night , answer it lol.

What the hell are you talking about?

IN one breath you say Collazo beat him (he didn't), then you say he got a gift.

History books show what? Hatton was undefeated in the fight with Floyd. Period point blank.

Anyway, straight from the doctor: Hatton is ON RECORD that Mayweather beat the best Hatton possible. He trained better than he'd ever done for that fight. Against Manny, he half-assed it thanks to Floyd Sr's dumb ass strategy.

65 years old on the Internet talking tough, that's funny $h!t. Again, what weight class did Hatton have the most success In his career? I could care less what he Is on fight night because almost every fighter re hydrates and comes In heavier than the contracted weight. Was Hatton more successful at 140 or 147? Simple question.

Hatton never fought at those weights, he fought at 153 and 159.

On paper he lost 2 WW fights.

Im not talking tough kid you are, Im just standing up to your phony bs.

So, according to you and the weights you provided above,Hatton fought In the light middleweight and middleweight divisions.
