Anyone who thinks Floyd is not aggressive.....

If anyone here thinks Floyd Mayweather is not a aggressive fighter need to watch Mayweather vs Gatti in particular round 6. It was such a bad beating that I don't think I've seen such a brutal display of combinations and accuracy since ali vs Williams in 1966.

Fast forward to the current period, if the fight with mcregor goes past 4 rounds mcregor may slow down. Since styles make fights in boxing and mma fights only go up to 5 rounds or 3 rounds (depending if it's a title match or not), we might witness a repeat of gatti vs Mayweather.....

that was pretty boy floyd before his body started breaking down - his own words

he cant bounce in and out like that , doesnt have the athleticism and legs to do that

but i imagine mcgregor cant fight inside because they dont box inside in mma, they grapple and i heard mcgregor has a poor gas tank, and floyd is 40 years of age so he cant move as much , so i expect mayweather to get inside where mcgregor is uncomfortable and work body and head , and walk mcgregor down

probably will be cagey first couple rounds

    floyd stoppage round 8

You cant use the Gatti fight to gauge Floyd's aggressiveness . Floyd had a slow, flat footed brawler in front of him and he caught on to gatti's rythm quick.

Gatti was tailor made for him. Floyd invisioned how he would beat him and he did exactly what he said he would do.

The 2nd minute of the 6th round was painful to watch... I actually felt really bad for Gatti. He didn't deserve to get a pounding that bad, my goodness

Floyd started having hand problems worse and worse after this fight. It's a shame he wasn't able to keep giving us performances like this because of it. People forget how much of a monster he was at 130 and the fights he had at 135 and 140, very entertaining fights. This was also the fight that made Bob Arum not make Mayweather-Cotto, he was considering it at the time then as soon as this happened he was like "We need more time to build Cotto up and make it a big fight"

I think Conor will slow down and Floyd will destroy him in the later rounds. My prediction Floyd by stoppage round 9

If mcregor gets tired and slows down he's going to receive a similar fate as Gatti. Mma fights don't go past 5 rounds. So for example in the ninth round Conor will be caked. Floyd is a devastating fighter when he sniffs blood.

I agree it was tough watching such a beating. Even the HBO commentators like manny steward were like "I knew it I was telling you guys along" yea right that performance by Floyd shocked everyone no doubt.....

Rest in Peace to Manny Steward but he was known for that sh"t. Before the Mosley fight he was like "The number 1 fight I want to see is Shane, he's faster and has more power" then as soon as it was over "I knew it, he never had a chance at this point in his career". Before the fight he said he favored Shane to win.

Yeah looking back Floyd was obviously better than Gatti but let's be real nobody expected him to get wrecked like that. Same thing with the Baldomir, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley fights. Nobody expected him to totally dominate and win those fights as easily as he did. Why can't they just give him the credit?

To be fair steward said in round 3 after a round that Mosley hurt Floyd that Mosley was struggling to deal with Floyd's speed and seemed uncoordinated

Of course he's allowed to change his mind, but I hate it when people do a total 180 and act like they knew exactly what would happen when they predicted the opposite. What do we expect though? These networks really only have one goal with their commentary, to push their agenda and try to make the fans buy into it.
