Bonehead, enjoy the buildup to this fight because it's probably going to your last one. Garcia IS A MUCH BETTER TECHNICAL BOXER THAN YOU ARE! IT's going to be rough taking that beating but you'll be getting paid nicely for it.

Personally I honestly have never focused much on any of Garcia's fights. I've watched a few of his fights but it was always against lesser opponents, so he has never caught my full attention. From what I've seen, he is a textbook technical fighter with above average punching power. But I honestly don't see any fighter on his resume to make me think he beats an athletically gifted quick reflexes fighter with good power like Broner who is extremely motivated for this fight. The people on here saying that Garcia is more mentally tough, I ask, where is the proof??? Garcia hasn't truly met adversity in his pro career so how can those type of statements be made??? Yes he did get dropped and got up fighting a C class opponent. But is that a positive or negative??? I'm riding with Broner in this one. He has much more to lose and as of now, he seems locked in and focused for Garcia. And Garcia's style is not the style that gives Broner problems. He's not the aggressive gung ho style fighter like Maidana and Porter. So, I see the fight being close the first four rounds, but then Garcia getting caught with a fast counter from Broner. I honestly see the bigger stronger and faster fighter winning. The old saying goes, a good big man always beat the good small man. If not, then yes, Broner is the new Zab Judah of this era. He has all the talent and ability, but can't win the big one. But if Broner lets his hands go, I don't see Garcia having a chance with that type of talent in front of him.

Broner is maybe more talented and capable physically, but his lack of dedication in his career has prevented his skills from developing the way Mikey's have. Mikey is a much more skillful fighter. Broner has an iron chin, some real pop (dropped Porter at 47) and seems motivated. The problem is you can't make up for all the slacking over your career in one camp. We just saw an example of that with Chavez Jr when he got his ass kicked by Canelo. Broner won't close the skill gap no matter how remarkable and on point he is this camp. He also has stamina issues. The thing is Mikey has been dropped before and Broner is the bigger man that has a pretty good punch. He has a real shot at stopping Mikey. If he doesn't, he will get out boxed. Point blank period.Last edited by rogdogx; 07-21-2017, 06:25 PM.
