Will not fighting for long time 'hurt' 'King King' Ortiz at 38 y.o.?

Luis Ortiz hasn't fought yet since December 2016 when he beat David Allen and he is 38 y.o. right now...

    Will it 'hurt' him?

He's at that point where the age curve sharpens significantly. Half a year or so of inactivity is amplified when compared to a bloke in his late 20's or so.

His window to get those big fights and have a meaningful contribution to them is closing rapidly.

Ortiz barely got rid of Allen and went 12 rounds with a 50 year old...whatever it is seems to have already hurt him. The last time he looked like an effective offensive fighter was against Jennings.

He would've been fine with the long layoff at 38, but now that he's 58 you gotta think it will take a toll
