    Middleweight contender Curtis Stevens (29-6, 21 KOs) is now a free agent, after announcing that he parted ways with his promoter for the last few years, Main Events. Stevens was last seen in the ring back in March, when he was brutally knocked out cold in three rounds by former IBF world champion David Lemieux at the Turning Stone Casino in New York City.

          put stevens vs a lower level slugger for an undercard I guess. the david lemieux knock out was a massive set back

                      From the sounds of it they released him. It is a shame as I think he still has some good fights in him as a spoiler/gatekeeper.
