I was just wondering what paycheck is the highest for each weight class in the history of boxing. Czar asked this one in the Pinoy Lounge and I would also like to know from you guys. Manny Pacquiao is rumored to get like 3 million for the third fight with Erik. Will that be the highest in SuperFeatherweight history??? Discuss.

i dont know the actualy pay check size ... and i dont think nobody really knows ...when they say someone is getting 5,000,000 for a fight ... they might come out with 3,000,000 or less because they have taxes, they have to pay the trainer, the cutman, the promoter gets his cut, lawyer fees, and **** other fees ...
but i think delahoya gets paid the most -

Here's what I think (highest)
Heavyweights: 20+ million (tyson, lewis?)
Middleweights: 30 million DLH (on DLH-Hopkins) I believe Hop got 9 or 15?
Welterweights: 5-10+ million (leonard fights, DLH-Trinidad?)
Lightweights: 3-5 million
Featherweights: 1-3 millionComment

oscar,tyson anbd holyfield were getting 30million dollar pay days. buster douglas got like 25mill in the holy fight. roy jones got 15mill against ruiz but usually got 4-5 for his light heavy fights. hopkins got 10 against oscar.Comment
