Exposed in what way he fought the legit best other fighter in his division who also had a KO streak that was ended, and canelo doesn't fight like Jacobs at all.

I see, so Jacobs' style was way much harder than any of GGGs opponents, we agree, but Alvarez fights nothing like any of the Pre-Jacobs opposition. If we are saying Alvarez, in a no different the outcome like Ouma, Lemieux, Stevens, or Rosado then I guess he's going to lose miserably?

I'm aware there is no rematch clause but to think there will only be one fight in this match up despite the outcome is thinking short sighted. Unless this fight flops or golovkin does retire after the fight there will be a rematch. Too much money in selling the redemption angle and the only other fight at 160 that makes Canelo anywhere near this kind of money is Cotto and that's not a sure thing either.

People are still not getting that golovkin is not a draw... he's just not. To assume that there will be this great amount of money going around is being short sighted imo. This fight is fine for the boxing purists and real fans of the sport, the casual fans know Canelo which is what will sell this fight, then it'll say "vs golovkin" and to quote McGregor, you'll only hear "who the fook is dat guy"? When it comes to most people, and his ppv numbers prove this. Canelo has a name, and part of it is because that name is tied to Floyd. If canelo wins, I really don ggpeg expect a rematch...MAYBE if the fight is REALLY close you'll see it.

If canelo were to go over and fight BJS (assuming he wins) in England, do you know how much more money canelo would likely make? Not only that, but he would get the last belt and be the actual unified champ, and would do it in 2 fights in what has taken golovkin 37 fights to attempt to do.

The money is in England if Canelo wants to rake that risk of not getting a bad possible decision. It would pack Wembley stadium imo.

Why doesn't anyone ever bring up how hard golovkin was trying to be able to land on Rosado for the first 4 or 5 rds? I saw him missing a lot. Ouma? He was shot, and golovkin didn't look great by any means imo.

well, did'nt cj ross gave it to canelo vs floyd?..and this was floyd who was always the victor in extremely close fights

GGG is gonna get ROBBED unless he stops canelo, no way around that imo....

I hear you on the Saunders thing but I also think you underestimate the value of putting a popular fighter in Canelo in with a legitimate threat, which i'm sad to say BJS is not. Yes there is a great deal of money in the UK but honestly I don't see GBP willing to go to the UK to make that fight at this point and thus it'll have to take place here. Just my personal opinion. Will it do well, maybe but that's not guaranteed. This is going to be a nasty fight regardless of how it ends and I believe will have people craving for more. Nothing better in boxing than a war of attrition between two boxers. We'll see the numbers soon enough but I think they'll be pretty damn good.

While I agree a forum isn't the best place to judge how a fight will do...it is an indication...no one is talking about this fight on here much, every thread popping up is Floyd vs Mc****lick, i think that will tell with the ppv too. Without a floyd fight? 700k-1 million.... but WITH it? 400-700 MAX IMO. Yes, we'll see soon though.
