this is true, even though i slightly favor ggg over canelo, canelo is the better and more skill fighter. ggg just has more power.

But the counter won't come and canelo isn't an inside fighter so he'll continue staying mid range waiting for ggg to come all the while getting hit with jabs and body shots. After canelo is broken down then ggg will come forward and by that time canelo will be done.
Canelo is pretty good at countering the jab with his right - a la Max Schmelling. GGG has to watch out for that.

This^^^^^and along with the jabs his power arsenal. If Canelo can absorb them he has a shot. If not, business as usual for Golovkin.

And that has nothing to do with how well or how bad each other is for one another. Facts my old friend

He even wouldn't fight GGG until he turned 35 and people think they are seeing him slip some.

If Canelo was so good, his chosen opponents for last two years wouldn't have been Khan, Smith, and Zombie Chavez. Only one of them makes it two rounds with a prime Golovkin.

Difference is, Canelo had pick of the litter, and aimed for Khan, a glass jawed LW. GGG aimed for a big MW whose now SMW, but settled for an undefeated WW who had fought as high as 155.

Comparing Khan to Brook is funny.
And GGG looks good against Tomato cans and taxi drivers. He didn't look invincible at all against a "real opponent.

that will not determine the duration of this fight

he won't absorb them, he will avoid/negate them

Fighters deteriorate from the legs up...Legs are the first to go, can't over do it - I think he will be fine
LOL, a 5 minute mile? That big, muscle bound freak isn't running at a 12 MPH clip for a full mile. He's probably going at a moderate 7-8.0 MPH tops....I can tell by the way he tires out that he doesn't push himself in the cardio department.
