I really admire Porter, his attitude is spot on and he may not be the most talented fighter out there but when he retires and looks back he will be able to say he maximised his potential and deserved all his achievements through his mindset and hard work.

It's a pet hate when a fighter loses out on a decision and moans about it when you feel they could've done more themselves to get the win. Even when Porter comes up short you know he's left everything in that ring.

At least the top welters want to face each other .Maybe it was started by how emphatic Spence is with this .He leaves muppets like Amir Con nowhere to hide.If you remember when Con moved up nearly four years ago he was going to clean up the welter weights, he has NEVER fought a top contender.

If I was Garcia, I wouldn't fight this guy.

All he has to do is wait for Thurman and fight him directly...Thurman will fight Garcia again in a heartbeat especially if Thurman is given the choice between Garcia & Spence.


Garcia should take on a go busy fight. Fighting Porter is a high risk, low reward type of scenario....beside Porter needs Garcia more than Garcia need Porter.
