ALEXANDRIA, LA. - In a battle of exciting featherweight brawlers, Chris Avalos (27-5, 20 KOs) was awarded a TKO victory after the doctor ruled that Miguel Flores (21-2, 9 KOs) could no longer continue due to a cut sustained during their featherweight matchup that headlined Premier Boxing Champions TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS on FS1 and BOXEO DE CAMPEONES on FOX Deportes Tuesday night from Rapides Parish Coliseum in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Avalos was owned tonight and starting to get beat down. But before the fight started, I was wondering how many cuts Flores would get. There should be a betting odds on cuts because Flores is incapable of going a single fight without being cut.

A perfect example why instant replay is needed the referee missed the but plain and simple it was shown on replay several times no doubt about it it should have been a fight that was stopped gone to the scorecards for an unintentional but and Flores would have won the fight... as for Karl he won but look at the fight he lost previously he looked terrible... showed not much except heart and I seriously doubt, unless there's a lot of money behind him he ever gets to be a top-10 contender.

He didn't have that "style" before he got beat. He was more aggressive and effective. A beating can take style away, cause a setback in skill. Cowboy lost more than just that fight.
