It's still more eyeballs than were on the HBO fight.

FOX is a broadcast TV channel available in over 100M homes. HBO is a subscription cable channel available in over 30M homes. You don't even need cable to get FOX, just an antenna. To get HBO, you need to pay a monthly fee on top of your regular cable bill.

How a super featherweight main event with two foreigners on HBO can come within 200K of a welterweight main event between two Mexican Americans on FOX that have been featured on PBC countless times is beyond me.

This is what was wrote when PBC drew a 0.8 overnight rating and 1.24m viewers on NBC (see below). This fight just did worse drawing a 0.7 overnight rating and only 886K viewers. This is HISTORICALLY bad ratings.

Premier Boxing Champions is clearly struggling. The Andrzej Fonfara vs. Joe Smith Jr. card held on primetime NBC this past Saturday was a dud, scoring a 0.8 overnight rating by Sports Media Watch. This number is down 20% from PBC on NBC's previous telecast in April, which scored a 1.0, and down 39% from the show before that, which scored a 1.3 last December.

The 0.8 rating is the lowest of nine PBC telecasts which have been held on primetime TV by a major broadcast network. Not only that, but the rating ranks among the lowest ever for a sporting event on primetime broadcast television.

I enjoyed the fight. It was a GREAT, action packed fight. It was better then FKN nothing.

im glad you enjoyed the fights but you think these were good matchups? if i want to see knockouts ill watch charlie zelenoffs highlight reel. maybe real fans want to see real good fights??? maybe they arent so easily tricked like you.
