I pray this fight gets made as it would be a net positive for both guys.

In either case, this CAN be a PPV fight and would be a win for Haymon in either case. It would also be a very interesting fight. Haymon will have a solid heavyweight... either Wilder is proven as a champ.... (and he signed on Ortiz to cash him out and throw him under the Wilder bus).... OR he will have a real Champ in Ortiz and Wilder get's to cash out and go about his business outside of boxing or fighting janitors.

Having said that... I don't think it will happen.
1. Stiverne apparently will not take stepaside money, and not enough stepaside money in Ortiz/Wilder anyway.
2. Ortiz will get popped for steroids, AGAIN. (thrown under Haymon/Wilder bus... for the good of the system of course).
3. Wilder will sign the fight... milk it up, get fans excited to build up his credibility... and then reinjure his hand in training.
