Good for him. He's had a good career, shared the ring with one of the greats and had some good wins of his own and picked up a few titles along the way. Abandoning his boxing abilities and deciding to be a brawler contributed to his pretty quick demise but nobody can say he wasn't in some good entertaining fights.

Hope he made plenty of money for his family. Seems like a good honest family man.

It was a really good goodbye speech.. until he got to the Haymon part. That was a disgrace. There's absolutely nobody in this world who will thank their wife (his soulmate), his father, who was also the trainer, and then say "but most of all I want to thank my
advisor whom I've known for 3 years".

It's so clearly fake that it's disgusting.

"In closing, I want to thank the most special man I've ever met in my boxing career, and possibly lifetime, a man who always does what's best for the fighter, a man who has changed the sport of boxing, a man who has helped bless me and my family with a great life, and that person is my advisor Al Haymon. Not only is Al Haymon a spectacular advisor, he is a wonderful human being as well, a great man, and someone who cares. In a sport where most managers, promoters, and trainers turn their back on a fighter, when they no longer can perform, or are no longer beneficial to their interest, Haymon stands tall. Love and loyalty is tough to find in the boxing game, but for any boxer looking for it, you don't have to look far, reach out to Al Haymon. I want to thank everyone, the fans included. I hope you guys appreciated the guts and glory I left in the ring. God bless you all." ~ Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero

THIS IS WHY SOME MEXICAN AND ***ISH AND ITALIAN PROMOTERS HATE AL HAYMON RIGHT HERE FOLKS...... HE MESSED UP THE GAME FOR THESE GREEDY SNAKES!

God bless Champ and all the best in your future endeavour.I was critical of your last performance based on my observation that the basic fundamentals you showed at 140 are lacking at 147.Great decision Champ.

On another note it's crazy how much haymons fighters love him. Rarely see one say a bad word about him.
according to arum haymon pays fighters too much! he messed up the game for these other greedy snakey promoters! thats why fighters love him promoters despise him.... guerrero made almost 10 million fighting on showtime and PBC! if he was with gb or tr he would have made maybe 3 or 4 tops in that time period! saturday nights main event was probably a retirement gift from al haymon to guerrero!

Didn't a boxer name his son after Al Haymon?

you bitter clown haymon put him big main event after big main event after big man event! Thats how he made more than 10 million dollars on pbc and showtime! If he was with other snake promoters he would have not even made half that amount in all those years! Thats why he is thanking haymon for helping him secure his familys future! Guerrero chose those fights! Haymon doesnt force his fighters to take fights like most crooks in boxing do
