Comments Thread For: Sullivan Barrera: Now Let's See if They Have The Balls To Fight!

Light heavyweight contender Sullivan Barrera (20-1) has reeled off three impressive wins in a row since suffering his first professional loss against Andre Ward in March of 2016. He stopped undefeated rising contender Slava Shabranskyy in December and then stopped Paul "Pay-Per-View" Parker in April.

Im praying he beats KKKOVALEV. 3 losses in a row would definitely end the career of that Russian motha****a!

Or he could go on and continue to be a formidable force and Ward's wins over him will look even more impressive against the test of time.

Ward and Smith dropped Barrera. Kovalev will finish him. Good fight though. Especially with Kovalev reeling after two consecutive losses.

Barrera needs to shut the **** up. He beat a part time boxer in Smith Jr. Ward, Stevenson, Kovalev, Gvodyz ( I butchered his name im sorry), Smith and anyone who is a decent fighter beats him at 175. Tired of people beating bums and celebrating like they beat world class opposition.

Barrera is a big risk to anyone at 175. Stevenson, Kovalev etc will avoid if they can.

Although I would rather see Kovalev vs. "Sir" Marcus Browne at the Barclay's, Kovalev vs. Barerra should be the easier fight to make, and it should be a decent match-up too! Make it happen!

Definitely Barrera is among the top 5 contenders of the division. So he can talk as he wants. At least he talks and is not afraid to fight later, like so many others who hide on ****** reasons to avoid the real fights

Would like to see if there is any reaction from Kov after the Ward fights. This is a decent way back in. Unless he is seriously on the slide he beats Barrera comfortably - significantly better boxer and even if he is on the downside that power will still be there.
