That's been my point throughout. Guy has 4oz gloves and MMA has different rules. McGregor isn't KOing guys with legal boxing blows, he's stunning guys and then either finishing them on the ground or having the ref jump in to stop him from finishing them on the ground. Those would be knockdowns in boxing, not KOs. Comparing MMA KOs to boxing KOs is like comparing boxing KOs to pins in wrestling, two very different things.

The thing is, for the most part, anyone who has good power in their hands as a boxer is already a boxer. McGregor might land his absolute best perfect punch on Mayweather and it does nothing to him.

If Floyd catches 1 clean in the first 3, his old ass is going down.
You are a moron... Floyd has a great chin and great recovery when buzzed.

Canelo has some of the best timing in boxing and outweighed Mayweather by like 20 pounds on fight night. That didn't help and Canelo is one of the best boxers on the planet

Maidana had an awkward style and some of the heaviest hands in boxing, still didn't help him

Thinking McGregor has a chance to KO a fighter who's never even been knocked down before is some ****** Skip Bayless type thinking. This fight is a waste of time
I agree with everything, except that his glove did touch the canvas vs Judah. Just wasn't called. Not that it's gonna really matter doe

Aldo is a beast, but I'm guessing Larry means as a boxer.

Paulie watched that KO on Aldo and the first thing he noted was that Aldo came in, in a straight line without using any kinds of feints. You might not have the highest opinion of Maidana & Berto, but they're smart enough as boxer to know you can't run into someone's range head first without feinting and probing the distance.

Why do people keep missing the fact that fighters don't wear boxing gloves in UFC, thus the likelihood of more KO's?

He keeps talking about being awkward and his power, but floyds faced punchers who hit much much harder than mcgregor and faced fighters who are difficult and unorthodox and he always figures them out.

I expect him to have fully figured out mcgregor by a round or 2 and I expect him to surprise a few people and stop Conor late when he gasses.
Bookies even Irish bookies Paddy Power have a Floyd stoppage as the most likely outcome.

                  He should stop him. 100%

If he doesn't Floyd's lost imo and let the sport down a little bit too.

It's crazy to me that some doubt Floyd's chin! He's been nailed plenty of times and never came unstuck. The Irishman has zero chance.

100% agree, for me if Conor lasts any longer than 10 and Shocked...yeah there's really a lot riding on this fight.
