Lampley can be biased at times but he Is simply the best at what he does. There Is no other commentator I would rather hear when watching a big fight. Although George Foreman was by far the funniest. Foreman, Merchant and Lampley were a perfect trio. Great boxing and lot's of comedy.

Actually Lampley could be describing the very people that watch HBO boxing. Jim Lampley is same guy who used sound effects to describe punches being landed in several fights. Remember the "Boom!"and the "Bam!" The suckers he was inferring to are the millions of rubes who bought Mayweather PPVs to see him lose over and over again. Those same rubes will buy this fight because they're convinced Mayweather could lose to an MMA fighter with a 0-0 record. The same rubes, HBO convinced that any fighter with KO power is suddenly the best fighter in the world.

Actually I don't even know if it's fair to call Lampley an HBO shill. Guy might just be a **** rider for Pac, Loma, and the other HBO flavors of the month.
