Pac, at the time was considered of the the hardest hitters in 122-130 history, and had seemingly carried it
At 122 Pacquiao was 6(6)-0-1 6 wins that came off with 6 ko's and a draw at the average competition of B-level.
at 126 Pacquiao was 2(2)-1-1 at the average competition of A-level.
Pacquiao at 130 was 7(4)-0-0 at the average competition of A-level.
Pacquiao was 15 (12) - 1-2, 15 wins at 12 ko's and 1 win and 2 draws at the Average competition of B+ Level from 122-130.
Then Pacquiao from 135-147 2008-2009 was 4 wins with 4 ko's at the average competition of B+ Level.
So Overall from 122-147 Pacquiao was 19 wins with 16 KO's, 1 loss and 2 draws at the average competetion of B+ level opponents. And most of the conditions of the fight where, Opponents where the same size, Pacquiao was still a young hungry lion, he was at his prime, his stoppages of A-level opponents was by way of accumulation and where never stopped before and his stoppages of B-level opponents where of 1 punch, and mostly where stopped before. The asterisk of Welterweight opponents where that Oscar Dela Hoya was drained, and Cotto was presumably drained and was stopped before by Margarito.
Then post Miguel Cotto Pacquiao went 9-5, with 0 KO's at welterweight. Most opponents had never been stopped before and on average outweighed Pacquiao by 10 pounds, Pacquiao was passed his prime, he had slowed down, his punch output dropped.
So Pacquiao went from being one of the hardest hitters of the 122-130 (only 3 went the distance with a Green Pacquiao - prime Pacquiao out of 19)
to just an average puncher at 147, which is normally the case of smaller punchers moving up, and was passed his prime at that point.
So I don't get the case where the accusations of PED use is when the reason why Pac stopped KO'ing opponents is when because they were known for having iron chins, durable and where never been stopped before, while also PAcquiao was slowing down. If men 10+ pounds bigger than you runs away from you then it is obvious it is going to be hard to knocking them out.
