Cong**** to Kownacki. He won't beat any of the top heavyweights. But he's an exciting fighter.

As for Szpilka, he got stopped because he got in the ring thinking he was the superior fighter. He fought like a guy that thought he had arrived after giving a trinket holder a tougher than expected fight. And having faced far superior competition than a guy making his 10rd debut. Szpilka ain't good enough to think he's gonna walk through anybody. Glad his arrogance got his ass handed to him.

Spilka was an embarrassment tonight. He was throwing wild looping punchs and backing straight out. It didn't look like he ever stepped Into a boxing ring before.

Just went back and watched it. Szpilka looked confident the whole way, but doing so while using a whole of unnecessary footwork, whiffing punches and what not. Kownacki didn't do anything special or even appear really athletic but was just landing cleanly throughout. Big knockdown then a good clean stoppage by the ref.

DAM would not have expected Szpilka to look that bad in this one.

Can't see Kownacki having big success at the top level but good for him for getting a win against a recognizable enough opponent
