Man I'm trying to bet as much as I can. Only $200 so far but **** need $300 more. Casuals are going crazy everywhere over Connor. The more Connor talks n sell this fight the more Floyd increases. The ppv buy I'm thinking 6-7 million and that sounds crazy as Fck considering 4.6 in 2015.
The moment connor realized Floyd AND Dana set him up?

Find some MMA bars on fight night. Do the shoulder roll, but instead of like Mayweather do it like Broner. Watch the money roll in.Man I'm trying to bet as much as I can. It wouldn't surprise me if there's something like this happening. You can hardly say Conor is a victim in it due to what he would make, but he's said things in the past to show his unhappiness at the UFC and even saying he wants shares in it. Maybe Dana knows Conor's time is limited in the UFC or he's only another big loss away from losing the hype and has come up with a plan to capitalise on his popularity right now.
This event will be huge. UFC are probably making more off this fight than a few PPV's combined and who's to say he even has a few big headline UFC events left? there's no certainty of that. Both Conor and Dana White probably know that anyway. At first Dana White said he doesn't want this to happen, why would he? his biggest commodity getting embarrassed in front of the world but it's business and everyone has a price.
I honestly believe Dana White knows Conor is in deep here.Comment

After seeing how team Ward was able to manipulate Don David Jackson and probably Don Turner too, you can never trust anyone, especially in the fight games and no matter how Christian they appear.
A set up is also possible since both Dana and especially Floyd have been known to be both vindictive and dishonest. We seen it with Dana against Randy Coulture and Pride. Floyd on the other hand has had a bitter, jealous and racist disdain for MMA as seen on several of his youtubes but then big money makes strange bedfellows.
On the other hand and speaking of Pride and Coulture, it seems Dana White has been known to tag along mostly for the limelight or save face and according to both Floyd and Connor, Dana White was not needed for this fight to happen, which is supposedly why he was originally kept in the dark about it even happening. Interestingly, UFC could have had Connor fight Amir Khan at full UFC rules but it appears at least some were more into Money Mayweather. Hmm.whats more risky for UFC, one of their fighters losing a boxing match to Mayweather or losing UFC to Amir Khan? Id say possibly the later. Then we have Floyd claiming a willingness to fight Connor in the octagon, but then Floyd and Al Haymon made sure that if any MMA moves are used against him, then Connor loses all of his proceeds. Hopefully, Dana was smart enough to stipulate something about Floyd's own slick use of elbows, arm bars, etc.. After all, look at the gross double standards Tony Weeks allowed against Kovalev
Basically, we cant believe any of these guys and many of the contract details are to remain sealed.Last edited by maracho; 07-15-2017, 01:16 PM.Comment

Fact is that Conor has one of sports' most ruthless agents (do some research on Auddie Attar), so it may be rumored that Conor got screwed in this, but remember that this is UFC in association with McGregor promotions (and mayweather, of course)
Floyd showed everyone how the game is played post-Arum. If you think he owns that strategy, you're crazy. Conor is a boss now. You're forgiven if you're a casual, but he is literally a global icon. He is building markets everywhere bc of his talent, charisma, AND his narrative.
Both he & Floyd have a fascinating life story. I happen to think that Floyd is a dimwit outside of a boxing ring, but I didn't grow up as Floyd mayweather, so it's a bit hard to judge.
Point is, both of these guys know their worth.
They also know their limitations.
Neither Conor, nor Floyd is dumb enough to think that they, alone, could promote this. Floyd needs Haymon, like Conor needs Dana. This is a professional, legal enterprise.
So, of course, UFC is taking a handsome chunk of Conor's loot (bc he needs the brand to make this interesting).
And, of course, Haymon is taking a sizeable chunk of Floyd's loot bc Floyd wouldn't be where he is without Haymon.
Rumors will continue to fly, and you're a part of why they spread like viruses.
Just look at the facts, and come to your own logical conclusion.Last edited by nveleven; 07-15-2017, 03:09 PM.Comment

'Roid to fame? What evidence do you have? I'm actually curious bc I've never heard thisThe UFC has a bright future. There will be another McGregor trash talker in MMA that didn't need to drain at Featherweight and roid to fame... the trick is trash talk in combat sports or have particular looks. Like Rousey perhaps... De La Hoya would not be where he is at if he didn't come off as GQ Gentleman's boxer ala Hispanic.
Conor will be happy as everyone, but the price to pay is humility since ironically Conor talks about $$$$ life, how in the hell can he compete against Floyd Mayweather... rhetorically or not
Don't all fighters cut weight? Some, like McGregor & Margarito, have the perfect frame (and work ethic) to take a fuller advantage of this.Last edited by nveleven; 07-15-2017, 03:08 PM.Comment
