Floyd has accomplished things that no other fighter in history would be capable of. He has ripped the old standard for ppv to shreds and pretty much writes his own ticket. That said, he is not anywhere near as good Ali in terms of presence and cultural importance and certainly not trash talk. He rarely says anything witty and usually repeats how rich he is over and over. Connor is not acting like a 4 year paper champ, he is acting like a guy who belongs. He will get destroyed in this fight, but the fact that he talked himself into it in the first place, is unprecedented and unparalleled. You gotta give it to him for that.

There's two different debates - Legacy and Skill. Skill-wise Mayweather is the GOAT, there has never been anyone as complete all around with as many attributes and as much intelligence in the ring. However everyone defines "greatest" differently and some people will argue previous greats were more important to boxing had more great fights etc but there's nobody with more all around ability so to me that makes him the greatest, skill-wise anyway.
